Retainer - Septum piercings may close if jewellery is not worn in them at all times. The retainer is designed to keep the piercing open while at work or other occaisions where one may not wish to show off the piercing. Retainers are made of 316 -lvm and are available in gauges from 16 up.

Spike - As the name implies a spike is a simple, straight piece of 316 lvm stock pointed at both ends. Spikes come in lengths from 1 1ž2" to whatever and are turned from stock one gauge up from the size ordered. I.E. A 12 gauge spike will be turned from 10 gauge stock with a 12 gauge divot at the middle to make centering the piece easy without a mirror.

Tusks - Tusks are spikes with the ends bent down so they look like ... well, tusks. Tusks come in lengths from 1 1ž2" to whatever and are turned from stock one gauge up from the size ordered. I.E. A 12 gauge tusk will be turned from 10 gauge stock with a 12 gauge divot at the middle to make centering the piece easy without a mirror.

Curls - Curls are spikes with the ends twisted like the handlebars on old 10 speed bikes. Curls start at 3''.
